A dozen thoughts on taking pictures (1-6)

1. Taking your pictures in a bathroom while standing in front of an open toilet is, well… let’s just say it’s not the look you want. 2. Taking pictures in a basement or against stud walls is (also) not the look you’re after. Think about a backdrop. 3. If nothing else is available, find or make a background to stand against, and practice where to stand so that you’re covered by all or most of backdrop. 4. Learn how to use the imaging software on your camera to fix bad pictures. 5. Shine your shoes if showing your feet. 6. Inspect your nylons before taking any of your pictures. Don’t submit pictures with runs or holes in your stockings.
